This proposal for an interior remodel in Dundee, IL, is designed as a space for a light fixture designer who would require darkness to appreciate the lights being crafted and displayed. There are seven work stations, four in an open studio setting, two in private cubicles, and one in a private office for meeting with clients.
Matte black powder-coated metal ribs serve double duty by both wrapping the space to subdue reflected light and also holding adjustable brackets and wiring. These brackets would host an array of unique lighting fixtures, which may be displayed and constantly reconfigured. |
